Orchid

Hello everyone,

What a lovely hot day today. 

Just stopping by with a quick post before I do a bit of blog hopping to see what you've all been up to..

This card is one I made for the HSN shows tomorrow... Crafters Companions Sara Davies will be there with some great demos... I was asked to make some cards using the gorgeous Sheena Douglass stamps and colour with spectrum noir pens for the show..


I used the gorgeous A Little Bit Sketchy Orchid stamp set.

beside the sea,

Hello again bloggers,

I'm back with my second card for today and in keeping with the summery makes of this mornings post I have a card to share now with a beach/seaside theme..

I was asked to make a card for a lady's husband who loves the seaside, cliffs and lighthouse..
When I saw this image from Just Inklined I knew it was perfect..


I used some old papers from dove craft that fit perfect for this card.. The stripy ribbon was from crafty ribbons that you can find here..
I used some charms and wooden numbers from my stash to embellish.
The sentiment stamp is from LOTV

Well yesterday I got to play with some of the lovely landscape images from LOTV
Here are two cards I made using images from art pad Set-40, Summer Escapes


I also used papers from the new paper pad romance and roses

Red Robins

Evening everyone, 

How's your day been.. We've had a chill out day today, been playing in my craft room while hubby went for a ride then took Harley to the skate park. :-)

Here is another Christmas card I still haven't blogged from last year.. :-/


This was one of my fav cards and a popular design with my customers, had to make a couple of this design.
The lovely Robin image is from LOTV art pad, papers are Kaisercraft.
I used the spellbinders poinsettia die cut and added card candi to the centre
I stamped the LOTV mum and dad tags. Finished off with ribbon and wooden bird.

Romantic Hedgies

Happy Saturday bloggers

Hope you are all well and the sun is shining where you are.. Little cloudy here but dry and warm so not too bad ;-)

For today's share I have used the super cute Mr & Mrs Hedgy from Pink Gem Designs
I used the precoloured version, but with every digi image purchase from PGD you get the coloured and outline version. 


I used some fantastic gold embossed papers from DCWV.. A paper lace doily from docrafts.
Ribbon, flowers and gems from my stash
I printed the sentiment on the computer and die cut with my nestabilities

A little bit of sewing

Evening everyone,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.
I'm still not feeling well and not had much sleep last night so think I will be having a chill out weekend, not doing much :-(

For today's card share I was asked to make a card with a lady doing some sewing work.. 
This is one of my fav images with a sewing theme, she's from MilkCoffee Digis coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens..


Papers are from First Edition. Embellished with doily, sentiment and border, flowers, spools, ribbon and twine all from my stash..

Love the soft colours on this card :-)

Magnolia

Good morning crafty friends

Hope you are well and having a good week so far..
I have another Spectrum Noir DT sample I made for the Germany Shows.

This one is using the pretty stamp set by Sheena Douglas called magnolia blossom
Coloured with Spectrum Aquas - purple and bud green


I embossed white car stock for the background.. Die cut with my go kreate dies..
Embellished with organza and charm from my stash and lace from docrafts. 
Sentiment was from a bebunni stamp set..

Party paws

And this time I want to share some Christmas cards I made last year using the party paws paper pack that is now on offer at Crafters Companions Here


I loved playing with these papers, they are amazing quality..


All I added was bits of ribbon and a few peel off names :-)

Right now for today's card share and it's my Spectrum Noir DT cards for Sheenas Shows in Germany

I loved playing with this beautiful stamp set - A little bit floral - Iris
Coloured with Aqua's (magenta and bud green)


I stamped onto Crafters Companion Watercoloured Card.. Backing paper is from BeBunni Floral CD
And the sentiment stamp is from Bebunni Sweet as a Rose stamp set
Finished off with some organza ribbon and pearls from my stash.

something a little different

Evening everyone, 

I'm back with my second post for today and this time it's something a bit different for me..
I had a play with some inks and stamps I got from the NEC 
The products from Inkylicious are just fantastic and I really want to master this type of card making just not had much chance to experiment yet..

Here are some of my first tries, would love to know what you think and any tips would be much appreciated ;-)

monochrome birthday

For today's card share I have used a Tatty Teddy stamp coloured with polychromos teamed with LOTV papers 


I love this strippy ribbon from creative expressions. I coloured the wooden number and then sprayed with spray and sparkle. The sentiment is from LOTV

summertime

Good morning bloggers,

Hope you are all well.. 

Today is the start of a new challenge at a gem of a challenge and our theme this week is 
SUMMERTIME

I did a little merging in the docrafts programme for this card 


First I used the Beach background, then added the beach hut and Ellie with ice cream all coloured with chameleon pens. The little girl in the sea is from Digital delights also coloured with chameleons 

I die cut the clouds after printed the sentiment. Embellished with a seashell and some gorgeous ribbon from crafty ribbons..

Make it digital

Good morning bloggers, 
sorry I wasn't around yesterday to share my landscape card with you as promised, I decided to make the most of the sunshine and went out with my mum, sister and little niece.. So I will be back later to share it but for now I have my TPS DT card to share 

Our new challenge starting today at The Paper Shelter is 

"Make it digital"

So This week you can do pretty much what you feel like but you need to use a digital element on you 
creation.Digital image or digital designer papers, piece of cake, right?

I used the  I miss you digital stamp coloured with chameleon pens


This is a card I made for my cousin.. Papers are loose ones from my stash.. 
Embellished with pearls, organza, charms and sentiment all from my stash

Jogger

little monster

Afternoon bloggers, hope you've all had a good weekend
I've been for a bike ride this morning with Harley then caught up on ironing and chasing the boys round the house, cleaning up after them.. Managed to put two cards together too but will blog these another time.

For today's share I have a card I've made last week using one of the cute Scruffy Little Kitten stamp
Coloured with spectrum noir 


I used DPs from the scruffy little CD, the sentiment came with the stamp set.
I used some jute and card candi to embellish.

Birds in the garden

Evening everyone..

How's your day been, I've been doing the housework twice because after I'd done the floors hubby and the boys decided to come back in from messing in the garage and garden and muck it all up again. :-(
Not an happy Kelly lol...

Anyway all clean now and managed a little bit of colouring :-)

I have a  and to share now using one of the pretty bird art pad images from LOTV


I used some pretty papers from first edition.. Leaves, ribbon, pearls and wooden embelly from my stash. The flowers are from WOC. The tag are what I cut out from the paper pad.

White on white

Good afternoon everyone,

So what's happened to the lovely summery weather.. It rained non stop last night and still dark and wet today :-(

So housework done, time for some colouring/crafting ;-)

Today I have a white on white card to share, these have been quite popular for anniversary cards with my customers.., this one is for a couple on their first wedding anniversary.


I used silver Mirri board and white linen embossed card..
Doily, pearls and organza from my stash.
The wooden number I inked then sprayed with crafters companion spray and sparkle..
Sentiment printed from the computer,

A quick and easy card but very effective :-)

Summer flowers and little birdies

Hello bloggers. 

How's your day been? The weather has been fantastic here.. And my eldest comes back home tomorrow after 5 days away, I can't wait to see him, give him a big cuddle and listen to his stories about his time away... Sorry to keep Going on about it but it's the longest he has ever been away from me.. :-( he's growing up so fast.. Really proud of him :-) 

Before I get onto my card, I thought I would share a picture of me and my boys (I don't tend to share pictures of my family on the Internet)  but Just though that some of my blogging friends might want to put a face to the names lols (especially when I'm talking about them all the time :-)


So I've used this pretty summer image from the art pad LOTV, the DPs are also LOTV
Embellished with my FAV embellishments FLOWERS from WOC
I used the cage and coloured with ink to match the card, added liquid pearls and organza ribbon
The tags are from LOTV sentiments stamps

Up up and away

Good morning everyone.. Hope you are all well and having a good week..
I'm sooooo glad it's Friday tomorrow and I will be picking my eldest up in the afternoon.. Oh I have missed him so much..

Anyway for today's card I've used one of the super cute bears from LOTV this one is called Patchwork Hot Air Balloon coloured with polychormos 


I used Kraft card stock and papers from Winter wishes pad.. I used gingham and stripped ribbon from my stash. I embellished with die cut clouds and some sentiment tag also from LOTV and a couple of brads from my stash

Father's Day

Hello again bloggers,

Back with my second card for today, (really need to get all these cards blogged :-/)lol

So here is one of many Father's Day cards I made and the LOTV art pad images are perfect for this occasion.. :-)


I used papers from DCWV and blue card stock.
Sentiment I printed on the computer and then embellished with satin ribbon and buttons from my stash.
A simple and quick card :-)

My last Sneaky Peak at the Flight of Fantasy CD

Good morning all..

Well I'm plodding along through the week, half way there and I'm missing Harley like crazy :-(
Sorry to wish the days away but I cannot wait till Friday afternoon to have him back home...lol


Right now for my card and it's another sample for the shows on create and Craft Tv


So what do you think of this range? A little different for crafters companion but still very pretty..
There are over 80 digi images to print from the CD as well as the normal card companions, papers, topper, sentiment, embellishments and more,,,

I printed this digi and coloured with my spectrum noir pens..
Papers, sentiment and bow are all from the CD too.. I used a couple of Diesire die cut butterfly's to finish.. :-)

Sneaky peak no. 3

Good morning bloggers,

I'm here to share another sneaky peak of the Flights of Fantasy collection shows on Create and Craft TV for the 4DD..

There are some really pretty digi s on the double cd rom (over 80 of them)
So not only can you print gorgeous toppers and papers you can also print the images and get your pens and pencils out to colour them anyway you want to ;-)



I've printed this cute fairy image onto crafters companion water coloured card and coloured with my spectrum aquas.. The papers, tags and bow are all printed from the CD.
I die cut the butterfly from the Die sire range.
Finished off with a couple of pearl embellishments and a touch of glitter.
