Non card projects

Good morning crafty friends,

Wow the wind has been terrible here all night, luckily it hasn't caused any damage yet :-/

Thank you for all your messages about my shabby chic samples. I know this collection is just going to fly ou, don't forget to tune in to Hochanda TV on Monday at 11am for the first show.

Here is a wine gift box and little gift bag I made with the collection

I used a plain Kraft gift bag I had lying around in my craft room.. covered it with some of the 12x12 papers and inked around the edges, I then used the doily die to make the flower, finished off with ribbon from the collection that I also inked with distress inks and a rose to the centre

I made this wine box using the big score board and the DVD tutorial. Covered with 12x12 papers and  inked with distress inks. Finished off with die cut doily and a ribbon bow.

I love maki gift bags and boxes because they act as a great accompaniment to a card, and gives that extra special feel to a little gift

Shabby chic

Hello bloggers,

Have you seen the new shabby chic range from Crafter's Companion I'm so lucky to have received some of it to play with. OH WOW !!! It's amazing. Just a wonderful collection of papers, dies, embossing folders and embellishments. I'm sure I will be getting a lot of use out of this range..

Here a few of my samples made using these stunning goodies.

I used Centura Pearl to create the card blank then used papers, dies, stamps, flowers and lace all from the new range. Finished off with a few pearls from my stash.

These two cards are 7x7 cards using papers, dies, lace, ribbons, flowers and embossing folders from the range.

This range is wonderful for all types of papercrfating, I've made gift bags and  boxes too but will share these in another post.

A layout

Evening everyone,

Hope you are all well and have had an enjoyable weekend.

I have another creation I made for the NEW essentials word bundle dies available from Crafters Companion but for this one I wanted to show that these are great for scrapbooking not just cards

I used Sara's English Country garden papers for this, inked around the edges with tea dye distress inks. Butterflies are dies also from the English Country garden range.

Essential word dies

Morning bloggers,

Almost a whole week has past again without me blogging :-(
Really need to get back into it, I've just been finding it very hard to manage getting everything done in the hours I have available each day, so this week I made the decision to reduce my design team commitments, I have decided to step down from my position at Crafty Ribbons and My Mums Craft Shop. Both of these online stores are amazing and I have loved being apart of these teams.

Right I have a selection of samples I made now for the Crafters Companion shows using the wonderful NEW essentials word dies. These dies are so useful and can be used on all sorts of crafting projects.

This Mum card is great for birthdays or Mother's Day. I used English country garden papers and some pearls and ribbon from my stash.

This thank you card is just using Centura Pearl card with coredinations dark 12x12 pad
Finished off with a few pearls

Happy birthday card using English country garden embossing folder with gilding wax

These dies are perfect for wedding stationery too. Here are a couple of cards /save the date and invitations I made. Very simple and quick designs but look great with the glitter words,

love is in the air

Good morning bloggers, Monday morning again, just don't know where the weekends go. :-(

So it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, anyone celebrate it?? Me and hubby tend not to both with it these days, who needs a particular day to tell someone how much you love them, we let each other know every day lol

Anyway enough of the soppynesse lol, I did make several cards for the occasion for my customers..
For all of these cards I used the lovely papers that came with Making Cards Magazine.
You all know how I enjoy playing with these free papers/toppers and this months is no exception.
Thank you Sally for another month great Inspiration :-)

I added tags and ribbon from my stash to complete the cards

The dies I used were all from Crafters Companion
