Gifts for mum

Good morning Crafters,

It's a lovely sunning day here and I'm spending it in my craft room as usual ;-)
So nice to feel that spring is arriving, make you feel so much more happier and alive lol..

Thank you for all your comments on my wedding card Sunday, I really enjoy playing with papers and dies lately. Think my stamping and Colouring as took a back seat for a while :-/

For today's share I have some gift boxes I've made for Mother's Day prosecco and chocolate gifts ;-)

I used beautiful shabby chic papers and dies to create these. Finished with some leaves, tag and letters from my stash.

I really must be getting another few of these papers they are just wonderful and gorgeous to work with.

Try something new

Hello bloggers,

Hope you've all had a good weekend, flew by again hasn't it. :-/

I have some thank you cards to share today that I made for my dt on The Inpisrers.. I was asked to try something new so I decided to try and experiment with Aqua tints.
After watching a few you tube tutorials I decided to create a few backgrounds using different techniques...

The first technique was just painted the inks on with a brush and blending the colours together.
I used a thank you die from Crafters Companion and layered over the top.

For this next card I used a Rock salt technique added onto the droplets of ink on the card. For the tag on this card I tried the sponging technique, where I simply applied the inks with a sponge.

This final card I used a more messier technique that involved shaving foam lol
I then used the little dies tht cme free with one of the crafter Inspirtion magazines

Challenges

My candy giveaway has now closed so I will be back tomorrow to announce the winner.

colorista

Good morning crafty friends,

Just back from morning walk with poppy, it's soooo windy out there.

Anyway I'm here to share my creation for the inspirers design team.
For anyone who loves colouring you don't just have to stick to cards, the Colorista colouring pads look great when coloured and put into a frame.

Here's one I did from the exquisite florals glitter pad coloured with Colorista pens

I used Colorista pens - leaf green, pear green, forest green, nectarine, gold, lemon, lipstick

Just in case you missed it, I have candy at the top of my blog.

A splash of colour

Hello Bloggers

Well my eldest had a great first day at high school yesterday and my youngest went back into year 3 today.. The summer holidays have flown by and I've loved spending quality time with my little family. But now its time to throw myself back into work mode.. Got lots of crafty things I want to get complete and new things to try too. :-)

Who signed up for the Colorista Online Course? I had great fun colouring in week's 1 sheet and turned them into a set of four cards.

I used Leaf Vein Embossing Folder to create the backgrounds then cut the sheet into quarters to decorate the cards as the main focal point. The sentiments are from various Crafters Companion Stamp sets.
