A techie shaker card

Good Morning,

I'm up nice and early this morning, bathed, dinner prepared and washing/dryer on...So looking forward to seeing my little man later after his week away with the school. I have missed him..

Anyway for today's card share I have one I made recently for an order. My customer asked me to make a card using a photo for a 50th birthday, the recipient is also very techie..

So after looking through my many unused stamps I decided to go with this set from For The Love of Stamps called Technically Awesome. I stamped the computer monitor, keyboard and loading birthday message onto For the love of stamps coloured paper pads. I die cut out using xcut dies. To display the photo I decided to go with a shaker card using the little cursor/loading stamps from the stamp set, so I stamped them out several times and fussy cut out.
The numbers are cut using xcut dies again and the brother die cut is using Crafters Companions family words set.

Memory keepsake

Evening bloggers, hope you are all well.

It's been a horrible wet and dull afternoon here. I've managed to finish some magazine work and get the write ups done and off in the post. So I can concentrate on my orders for the rest of the week before getting some design work done the weekend ;-) (well that's my plan anyway)..

Now I often get asked to make different themes and style cards from my customers but one that was quite unual this year was a little card/memory book style make. For this wedding anniversary creation I was asked to include all things that were relevant to the year that they were married (news headlines, number ones, new movies etc)

This is what I came up with, my customer loved it too..
Papers I used are Crafters Companion, Sara's Signature collection. Mixed media rosette die also from Crafters Companion. Wooden numbers I purchased from local warehouse that I then coloured with sparkle pens.

colorista

Good morning crafty friends,

Just back from morning walk with poppy, it's soooo windy out there.

Anyway I'm here to share my creation for the inspirers design team.
For anyone who loves colouring you don't just have to stick to cards, the Colorista colouring pads look great when coloured and put into a frame.

Here's one I did from the exquisite florals glitter pad coloured with Colorista pens

I used Colorista pens - leaf green, pear green, forest green, nectarine, gold, lemon, lipstick

Just in case you missed it, I have candy at the top of my blog.
