Stars and Stripes

Good afternoon all. Hope you are all well.

Its raining here AGAIN.. I am really hoping that the summer is waiting for the boys to break up from school which is in 10 days so fingers crossed all for sunshine to arrive soon.. lol..

Right this is my first card for today.. I love this little cute skater by Gillan F Robers..

I have coloured with promarkers.. Dp's are papermania and some loose ones from my stash.

The sentiment is out of a Teddy Bo set.. I punched orange stars and added glitter stars to the middle..

I cut the image and sentiment out using my nestis and used my promarker to colour round the edge.

I finished embellishing with blue rhinestones and orange ribbon..

I'm back....

Hello Bloggers.....

Well Thank Godness last week is over!!! What a week...!

Firstly I had my eldest off school poorly then at the beginning of the school hols Hubby was unwell and then yes you guessed it, I ended up with it too.. It totally knocked me off my feet. I am so thankful hubby was at home to help with the little ones or dont know how I would of coped.. lol....

Well we are all back to feeling human again now.. And this is the first day of things getting back to normal so hopefully my blog will not be so neglected this week.

My first card to post is a little experiment I had with a fairly strange colour combo,

I'm still not sure if I like it, I will let you decide what you think???

The stamp for this one is by Gillian F Roberts. I have coloured her with promarkers. I am not sure of the DP's as they were loose in my stash, The sentiment stamp is from LOTV set and cut out using my nesti's. The flowers are WOC.. Ribbon also from my stash..

Skater..

Good morning all. Hope you are all well and are looking forward to a nice long weekend.

Both my boys are off school today unwell, colds and headache.. So they are curled up on the sofa with the duvet watching a few cartoons.

I have a few cards/post to do today as I have been working on some very simple and easy designs.. Sometimes I do find that I go back to basics with cardmaking ust depends what mood I am in... lol..

Anyway onto my first card for today, I have used an old stamp by Gillian F. Roberts. Here he is:

(Apologises for the photo AGAIN.... I did try repairing my camera last night but ended up throwing it across the living room... I am in the process of sweet talking my wonderful hubby for a new one!!! So until then I am having to use my phone)

I have coloured him using promarkers... For the background I used some Versachalk inks on white card for the sky then I added the road scene stickers by Sandylion.. I layered onto black mirri board and then onto green cardstock.. The DP is K & Co.... The sentiment I printed from the computer... I added a button and twine from my stash..

Good afternoon peeps, Hope you are all well and having a good week..

Well, I picked up my little bundle yesterday and she is absolutely beautiful, she really is a tiny tresure.. We have named her Poppy.. I will get a piccy posted soon.. My eldest son Harley is besotted with her.. He doesnt want to leave her alone, Bless him..

I have not managed any crafting for the past few days but her is one I managed to do a few days ago..

I think this stamp by Gillian F Roberts, I have a few of her stamps, they are really wonderful to work with, and cute images too..

I have coloured her with promarkers (blush, pastel pink, orchid, lilac, tan, caramel, ameythest' cool grey 2).. The backing papers are Kaisercraft.. I added metal mesh buttons and a purple flourish with a oraganze ribbon bow.. I also added a little charm from my stash (see close up pic below)

I enjoyed making this card.. I have not added a sentiment for a change as I have not decided for what occasion or who I am going to send it to.. I think it works well for a girly birthday or Mothers Day.

This stamp is by Gillian F Roberts.. I received this stamp as a christmas present from hubby...

I have coloured the image using promarkers. The papers are from my stash, I have used a marianne florish die and added some candi and flowers and gems for extra bling.. The sentiment stamp is from LOTV and I have used nestibility dies for the scalloped circle..

My second card for today is this girly card for a Niece on her birthday..
