Afternoon all....

HE'S BEEN! HE'S BEEN!

The courier has just delivered a massive parcel... Whooooo!
I am the proud and very excited owner of a Cricut machine all thanks to the wonderful Brenda and her very generous candy giveaway.

Thank you so so much Brenda. I still can't quite believe it.
I can't wait to get it set up and get playing. Xxx

Now i will try and calm down so i can post my second card for today :-)

Lili little fairies Day.. & Extra NEWS

Good morning crafty friends,

Have you spotted the new logo pic in my sidebar, I have more news and details about that at the end of this post. Please get comfy as this is quite a long one but I'm sure you will be happy after reading to the end.

Firstly today is new challenge day at Lilis little fairies, the theme for this week is
NO FLOWERS,
it's not my teams turn to join in but I managed to get an extra card made so though I would join in while sharing our news too.

I used one of the adorable images from LOTV art pad, I just added glitter for some sparkle.
Dp's are kaisercraft I think. I printed the sentiment from the computer.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges

Right now onto the news and I info.

As we all know Times change, so us Fairies are changing with them.  This will be the last ever challenge as Lili's Little Fairies.  No, please, don't be too sad, read on.

We have had a blast as LLF but it is time for a new start and from next week (5 September), we are becoming Crafty Little Fairies, a new look and a new address.

Something else new and, we think, very exciting - we are opening the challenge up to use images other than LOTV.  So, you can still use your Lili's and we would love to see them, but you can also use other images too.  How cool is that?!  I am sure the Fairies will continue to share their love of Lili with you all but this does mean more of you will be able to join in the challenges with us.

So, we hope you are as excited about all this as we are - see you next week for the first everCrafty Little Fairies Challenge!

To see more inspiration from the design team please pop by the challenge blog  Here

That's all from me for now. Have a good day

Good morning crafty friends.

Stitching

Good evening all.,

So sorry, I'm not being a very good blogger past few days. I have been worried and distracted thinking about Poppy's operation today. So glad it over with now, the op went well, she's feeling  a little sorry for herself tonight and a bit sleepy but she still welcomed some cuddles off momma. Bless her.

I m hoping to have a big catch up on Blog hopping and DT commenting tomorrow, so if I haven't stopped by yours yet, I will be there shortly lol..

I have a quick card to show you now, using a Milton and co topper that came with magazine, a while ago. I have made this to enter into the following challenges: http://divasbydesignchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/use-some-twine.html

I was inspired to try this technique from the lovely Kat who showed a tutorial of how she gets the stitching to look so fab on her cards. Thanks Kat. Hope you like my take using twine instead of DMV thread.

Thanks to everyone who visits my blog and for all the wonderful comments you leave. I love reading each and everyone of them

Finished with hat pin, pearl flower and ribbon.

I really enjoyed making this card, unfortunately the photos do not show it at its best.

Helloooooo everyone.

Mine has been fantastic, as I am the VERY lucky winner of Brenda's very generous  cricut candy.
I still can't believe it. How lucky am I.
Thanks sooooooo much Brenda, still SMILING and shaking  here lol.. X

My card share for today was one I was planning on posting yesterday before going to the caravan but I completely forgot sorry..

better late than never, I suppose..

I used one of my new gorgeous saturated canary images for this card and went with a theme of choc and mint, I have no idea why I chose this theme other than the fact that I really fancy some choc and mint ice cream mmmm!

Anyway back to the card.... I coloured this fab image with polychromos. The DPs are First edition. I punched a strip of brown card down both sides with my MS punch. Added gorgeous flowers from WOC.. Ribbon and pearls from my stash. The little butterfly sentiment was from Sally's candy that I won a few weeks again. (Thanks Sally)

I decorated the box to match the choc and mint theme again.
