A wedding card

Good morning everyone, 

Hope you are all well and having a good week so far..
My boys had a good first day back to school yesterday, was really quiet here without them. :-(

For today's card share I have used my fav wedding image.. (I know I have used this so many times lol) it's the first image I think of when people ask for a wedding card..


I coloured the image this time with polychromos and stickles
The DPs were  from tumble tizzys cd rom.. I used flowers from WOC. Paper lace heart panel from docrafts. Sentiment I printed from the computer, ribbon, hessian, tag sentiment and pearl all from my stash..

The lady who asked me to make this card was really happy with it... Hope the happy couple will be too..

Butterfly wishes

Good morning crafty friends,

I have scheduled this post, knowing how hectic our house is on the first morning back to school...

For today's card share I have used the joanna sheen cd rom again..




I printed a couple of backing papers and the layered them onto purple card stock.
I also did this with the butterfly and sentiment topper and the butterfly embellishment topper... 

I embellished this card with mesh, ribbon, pearls, buttons and flowers

18 today

Good evening all.. I bit of a late post from me today..sorry...

I have had a relaxing chill out day at home with my boys, they are back to school tomorrow :-(
Going to miss them being here, this school holiday as been lovely. Had lots of quality family time together, don't want it to end :-(

While the boys were playing earlier I got some more work done I he wedding invites that I have been asked to make... Only 30more to do then they will be finished and I can get on with some normal crafting lol...

Today is my stepsons 18th birthday... Can't believe how quickly they grow up.. 
Anyway here is the card I made for him using Party time from crafty sentiments


I coloured this image with my promarkers.. DPs are from a LOTV pad layered onto buff card stock from papermill direct.. I cut the numbers out using the cricut.. The letters were die cut using the memory box alphabet idea. To finial I added a little faux stitching around the circle panel..

Some news and a little card share

Good evening everyone, 

Sorry I've been a little quiet on my blog this weekend I have been working on some wedding invites I've been asked to make and also on some samples for crafty sentiments..

As you know I am on the design team at crafty sentiments and love working with Suzettes amazing images, but when I was asked if I wanted to move to a separate team to just work with their amazing new  CD ROMs I thought why not.. I have been enjoying cd crafting lately anyway and am so pleased to get to promote these great NEW CDs

There are so many gorgeous elements on the CDs, you don't know what to use first lol...

For today I have a card to share using a LOTV image, I loved using this James the bear art pad image so much I ordered the stamp too lol...
I have coloured this cutie with my polychromos

The DPs are from DCWV.. I used bright orange card stock to Matt and layer.. Hessian, ribbon, butterfly gem and flowers from my stash... 
I printed the sentiments from the computer,

Owl.. With love

Good morning everyone 

Hope you are well and for those not feeling too good hope you are better soon...

Today is the start of a new challenge over at A gem of a challenge

And the theme this time is cute and cuddly.


I love this image from pink gem designs.. Got a thing for owls lately lol...I die cut the image and again a panel to put behind. I have coloured this cutey with polychromos.
I used backing papers from Bo Bunny.. Embellished with a paper doily, sentiment, flowers and owl charm..
The fantastic ribbon is from crafty ribbons

Yay....two top 3's!

Good morning everyone...

Ronnie had a lovely birthday yesterday..
Think we all need some quiet days at home after the last busy few weeks.. ;-)

Now for today's card share I have another floral card using the Joanna Sheen. CD



I printed the backing paper and topper (after changing the wording) layered into pink card stock.. I punched a border panel using my fiskars punch the attached paper lace and organza vintage rose ribbon (available from crafty ribbons)... I used a butterfly topper and doily from my stash to embellish as well as pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid

Girly.

Good afternoon everyone, 

We are enjoying a nice calm day at home today.., the boys are playing with their new games/toys.. And I have finally managed to get in my craft room this week..

I have a card I've made for a lady that is a little different to my usual makes..
Why? .... Because I haven't used any patterned papers.. No not one little bit lol...


What do you think?

I have used burnt orange cardstock and added a Lace paper panel to it from Docrafts Papermania Capsule Oyster collection... They are so pretty and give a really great effect I think...

I've coloured with promarkers and polychromos. Finished off with a sentiment tag from papermania.. Ribbon bow and rose pearl from my stash..

Fancy folds

Good morning everyone,

We are off to the sea life centre today so I have scheduled this post.

We have a new challenge starting today at Crafty sentiments and our theme is 
FANCY FOLDS


The prize up for grabs this week is this adorable image


For my card I used 60s fashion image coloured with promarkers 


The DPs on this card are some old ones from K&Co. I die cut the image and swirls and flowers
I added buttons to the centre. 


I embellished with extra flowers from WOC, ribbon from my stash and a LOTV tag stamp.

Really like this shaped cards, the first one I've made.. But think there will be many more lol..

Yellow

I have used a sweet Poppy image available from Pink Gem Designs for this card coloured with my promarkers.. The DPs are from DCWV.  Embellished with flowers from my stash, lace, and pearls all from my stash.. The sentiment I printed from the computer and added stickles round the edge..

Dinosaurs...

Good morning crafty friends and a happy Easter to you all... Hope you are all enjoying the extra long weekend...

The boys have done their Easter egg hunt this morning and now have way too much chocolate to eat.. I May have to help them ;-)

Thanks for all your comments on yesterday's post, unfortunately we never made it to the beach as the weather wasn't as nice as we expected.. We decided on the zoo instead, had a great day out with the boys.. Really enjoying spending some quality family time together this holiday... Something we don't do enough of, downside of working for yourself and having no employees :-(

It's Ronnie's birthday on Wednesday, can't believe my baby will be 5, he is growing up so fast..
Anyway here is his card from mommy and daddy


As soon as I saw these images and papers over at Pink gem designs I knew I had to use them for Ronnie's card..
I die cut the bunting and used peel offs for his name.. Punched some stars and added faux stitching and a peel off number,.  Then finished the card with some of Ali's fantastic new Silhouette dinosaur ribbon from crafty ribbons...

Camouflage invites

Hello again everyone 

Back with my second post for today, hope you've all had a nice Good Friday

I'm just popping by to show you some boys invites I have made, I also made a matching themed birthday card.  
The birthday boy is into the black ops type game so thought the  Kenny  K digi image would be perfect..


I used a6 size cars blanks for these with some loose DPs from my stash (sorry unsure of the name)
I stamped invitation onto some cream tags and attached some camouflage ribbon from my stash 


I coloured the kenny k image using my polychromos, embellished with burlap and buttons

Spring

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the bank holiday weekend here in the UK..

For today's card share I have used one of the LOTV art pad toppers


The DPs on this card are also from LOTV, I think they are perfect for spring creations.

I die cut the panel to add the image too, I then punched different shaped flowers to layer onto each other and added a gem to the centre... The sister tag is also from LOTV.

Horse ridding Chloe.

Good morning all.

I have been playing with the new digi sets from pink gem designs... 

I have used The Chloe horse riding set designed by the talented 
Janet to make two very different cards..


For the first one, I used the pre coloured image and merged with the grass background digi also from pink gem designs and cut out using my nesti's. 


The papers are printed from the Joanna sheen furry friends CD.. 
I used the fantastic new ribbons from  Crafty ribbons. Embellished with a pearl button, charm and ribbon all from my stash.  I used 3 different flowers from WOC to enter into the wild orchid challenge.

And the second card I made using the digi set is with the black line images merged again with the grass background. I coloured the images on this card with my polychromos. 


The designer papers are from DCWV. I die cut the flowers and added gems to the centre.
I used some more new ribbons from Crafty Ribbons called Vintage butterflies
The sentiment stamp is from LOTV

LOTV birthday

Good afternoon everyone..

Thought I would pop back with another card I've made this time it's a male card and the first time this sweet stamp as been inked.


Some more practice using my polychromos too.. What do you think.. I am really enjoying using them now thanks to Sally for her help and advice on card etc.. (Thank you Sally xxx)

Right this cute image is from LOTV (as if you didn't already know lol)
Papers are papermania. I added some metallic mesh and ribbon from my stash..
Finished with pearls and sentiment.. I'm liking these coloured cards at the moment, nice and neutral

Monday...

Good Monday morning all..

How was your weekend. Ours was lovely had some quality family time for a change.
Back to work for hubby today and it's the first day of the school hols, so the boys are up and playing nicely for now anyway lol...

Before I get onto my card just want to let you know about the wonderful new release over at Crafty Sentiments and what better way to celebrate it than a hop... Please join us tomorrow to meet the adorable Scruff and Dayna..



Right now onto today's share..and I have another frame to show you..
One of my customers asked me to make a wedding frame with a burgundy theme. Of course the first wedding image I thought about was the fantastic Wee stamp (my all time fav wedding image) just love colouring these sweeties in.


I printed these heart papers from one of my old cd Roms (unsure of the name now, sorry)
Then I used ribbon, sentiment, flowers and a heart gem from my stash..  I coloured the image with my promarkers.. 

To finish the frame I added a punched heart with the couples names - the picture above is before I personalized...

All dressed up card

Good evening all..

Hope you have all had a great Saturday.. We've been for a lovely drive out and a walk.. 
Lovely to get some fresh air and exercise while spending quality time with my hubby and boys.,

Now for today's card share.... I recently came across some great images and FB page..
They are called All Dresses up.. They are so adorable and great to colour..

Spring

Good morning all..

Just a quick post from me before I head off to the garage and then shopping for grandad..

People who follow my blog regularly will have noticed that I am getting a little bit obsessed with the Joanna Sheen floral CD rom.. 

There are just some beautiful images and papers on there.. I have really surprised myself how much cd crafting I have been doing lately.. 

So for today's card share it's another floral creation... 
Perfect for spring..


I used DP and image from the cd, added the sentiment before printed..mat and layered onto coordinating cardstock.. Punched the border panel and attached some of my fav ribbon (vintage rose organza) from crafty ribbons. Leaves and flowers from my stash..

Lilac flowers

Good morning crafty friends.

How are we all today? 
My boys break up tomorrow for the Easter hols so I'm hoping to get some posts scheduled just in case they keep me too busy to get any done lol...

Anyway today is the start of a new challenge over at The crafty ribbons challenge blog
And our theme this week is Flower power.. 

Oh This is the perfect theme for me lately too as I am a little bit addicted to the Joanna Sheen 
flowers CD rom...  I just love creating with these images and some of Ali's ribbons are the perfect finishing touch..

Here is my floral card, I used DP and topper from the cd but added a verse from the net..


I mat and layered onto black card stock to give that striking finish..
And what better ribbon to use with these gorgeous paper than my favourite Vintage rose  in the lilac and purple colour..
I embellished with flowers from WOC and my stash. The pearls, butterfly and wooden flower are also from my stash..

The DT have made some gorgeous floral designs, why not pop by for a bit of inspiration or to enter your creation.
