A sentimental post lol...

Hello again crafty friends.
For my early morning post please scroll down. Lol

So who tuned in to see the amazing Jen with the first video for 12months of scrapping.
Now I have always admired the wonderful layouts that people create for scrapbooking but to be honest I always found it quite daunting having to fill a massive 12x12 area lol..
However when I got to meet Jen at Crafter's Companion The Inspirers get together last year an saw how passionate she was about getting everyone scrapping, it was really encouraging to give it a go.

Then to my delight Crafters Companion announced they were launching the 12months of scrapping tutorials with Jen sharing her ideas, tips and designs and being able to purchase a bundle of coordinating goodies really made it the perfect time for me to give it a go...

SO yesterday the video went live and I gave it a go. :-)
I thoroughly enjoyed doing it and am so pleased with the result that I have been to purchase a frame this morning to showcase it lol.

This is a very special photo too. As one of my most fondest memories as a child was all the family getting together in nan and grandads back garden. Water fights and a blanket on the lawn to play with my cousins and Nan's salad faces, juice flavored ice cubes and ice cream and wafers.
My nan left us 5 years ago but She really does live on in all of us, such a wonderful lady and someone I hope to be like.

Here is the framed piece, something I'm going to hang on my wall with pride.
A massive Thank you to Jen and the Crafters Companion team for helping me find this new hobby and something I will continue doing to restore these wonderful memories.

For anyone that would love to give scrapping ago please do click the link to watch Jen, I'm sure you will find it as enjoyable as I have.. HERE
